New!! Sliding Rail Chocking Cleat Kit. The new sliding rail chocking cleat kit was designed using my patented rail system. This is a new concept for anchor fisherman who want to be able to chock their vessel over in current offsetting the anchor rode to either port or starboard. Rather than having a permanent welded hook or cleat this allows infinate adjustment and removal of the cleat when not in use leaving the bow clear of obstructions.
The new chocking cleat kit will also be offered with 2 size rails and be comprised of 2 short rails 2’ or 3’ in length with one sliding rod holder mount and one cleat.
The chocking cleat kit is designed to mount a rail on both sides of the bow on top of the gunnel and angled back parallel to the gunnel on each side. The front bolt point on each rail will not be countersunk this will not allow the cleat to slide off the rail at the bow. All other bolt positions on the rail will be countersunk allowing the cleat to easily slide on the rail and can be slid off one rail and moved to the opposite rail.
