New!! Sliding rail tie off cleat. The new sliding rail tie off cleat was designed with my patented rail system in mind. I had two uses in mind with this new cleat. One use is just to have an adjustable cleat anywhere on my rail system. Use number two was a new concept for anchor fisherman who want to be able to chock their vessel over in current offsetting the anchor rode to either port or starboard.
The new cleat will be offered as a stand-alone part and can be combined with my sliding rail rod holder mount. The new cleat will also be offered as a chocking cleat kit comprised of 2 short rails 2’ – 3’ in length with one sliding rod holder mount and one cleat.
The chocking cleat kit is designed to mount a rail on both sides of the bow on top of the gunnel and angled back parallel to the gunnel on each side. The front bolt point on each rail will not be countersunk this will not allow the cleat to slide off the rail at the bow. All other bolt positions on the rail will be countersunk allowing the cleat to easily slide on the rail and can be slid off one rail and moved to the opposite rail.
Note: Sliding rod holder mount sold separately.
